Job Description: German to English Translator
Experience: 2-5 Years
Any field of graduation
Location – Kolkata (HYBRID Mode)
We are hiring a translator to join our project team. The person will understand the client requirement through support process and he/she will work as German translators and report directly to the respective executive through the mail, message, etc. Your main tasks will include understand and translating the client requirement, translating documents, recording video captions, mail. To succeed in this role, you should have a natural understanding of German and a good grasp of grammar.
Responsibilities:
- Translate content within documents, web pages and software
- Verify the documents of the prospective applicants, reporting anomalies to senior management.
- Maintain translation database by using translation management software
- Provide quality assurance for the translation process
- Resolve issues associated with translation, localization, and culture
- Engage with other departments to provide translation services
- Implement feedback and changes whenever possible
- Email Communication whenever required
- Act as a liaison between internal and customer
- Act as a support team to the customer
Requirement :
- Fluent in English and German. It has US access accent.
- Effective verbal/written communication skills
- Obtain end-to-end brand and product knowledge
- A positive attitude and customer focused approach
- Ability to act with tact, good judgment, and discretion
- Hands on experience in MS Word and Excel.
- Knowledge of the translation process, terminology, and localization techniques
