Job Description:
We are seeking a skilled Magento Developer to join our team. As a Magento Developer, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining high-quality ECommerce websites using the Magento platform. You will also be required to communicate effectively with clients and team members to understand project requirements and deliverables, develop custom Magento modules and integrations, and optimize the performance and scalability of Magento sites.
Roles and Responsibilities:
- Work with the Magento eCommerce platform to develop and maintain high-quality ECommerce websites.
- Set goals and tasks for performance and ensure timely delivery of projects.
- Effectively communicate with clients and team members to understand project requirements and deliverables.
- Develop custom Magento modules and integrations to enhance the functionality of ECommerce sites.
- Update the features and functionality of existing Magento sites as needed.
- Optimize Magento performance and scalability.
- Troubleshoot Magento errors and issues to ensure smooth operation.
- Provide support for live Magento sites and ensure their proper functioning.
Technical Skills:
- Proficiency in PHP 5 and MySQL 5.
- Experience in developing and installing custom Magento 2 extensions.
- Knowledge of JavaScript (Prototype and jQuery), XML, JSON, SQL, PHP, CSS2, and CSS3.
- Magento certification is a plus.
Job Requirements:
- Assist senior software engineers in developing software.
- Prepare detailed reports for documentation.
- Assist in formulating the plan and schedule for programming.
- Learn the job from seniors and apply the knowledge to work.
- Develop programming skills continuously.
Desired Candidate Profile:
- Master’s degree in Computer Science or Information Technology.
- B.Tech in ECE, Computer Science, or IT.
- Professional experience of 2 – 4 years in relevant fields.
- Strong programming and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
